The Jupyter Notebook is a web application that allows you to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations and explanatory text. Uses include: data cleaning and transformation, numerical simulation, statistical modeling, machine learning and much more.

This Charm deploys the Jupyter notebook including the python3 kernel.The notebook is protected using an automatically-generated easy to remember password.

Usage

Deploy the notebook.

juju deploy cs:~tengu-team/jupyter-notebook-spark

After deployment is complete, you can see the password in the status message. Run juju status or look at the details of the notebook unit to get the password.

Config options

The pip3-dependencies config option lets you install additional python3-pip dependencies. Use this if you want to install additional kernels.
